Public Consultation: Draft Ministerial Decree on Technical Standards of Land Mobile Radio Telecommunication Equipment and/or Devices
Public Consultation: Draft Ministerial Decree on Technical Standards of Land Mobile Radio Telecommunication Equipment and/or Devices
- Updated EMC requirements according to the international standards CISPR 32 or ETSI EN 301 489.
- Updated Electrical Safety requirements according to IEC 60950-1 or IEC 62368-1.
- Land Mobile Radio devices are divided into three types: conventional radio devices, trunked radio devices, and private mobile radio devices.
- Conventional and trunked radio devices are divided into four groups: handheld, mobile, base/repeater, and radio modem.
- The operating frequency restrictions for devices have changed from being broad (for example, previously, UHF devices were permitted to operate within the 300-3000 MHz operating frequency range) to being adjusted according to TASFRI allocations and the prevalence of devices manufactured by vendors (for example, in this RKM, UHF devices are permitted within the 300-470 MHz operating frequency range, thus disallowing devices with the 450-512 MHz frequency range).
- Test parameters are limited to those that can prevent harmful interference, including operating frequency, channel spacing, conducted output power, spurious emissions, and frequency error/frequency stability. Other test parameters, including temperature, impedance, and modulation, are removed.
- Addition of test methods according to international standards.
